AB The author traces the fate of unfinished and unfinished Protectorate films after 1945. He explains why the Czech state production took over, completed and released five of the films (e.g. Rozina sebranec, Řeka čaruje or Pancho se žení) and why the remaining five were rejected (e.g. Bludná pilgrimage, Jenom krok or Z růže kvítek).
