Sound documentary in the work of the National Film Archive
Information about a new archival unit - a collection of sound documents that began to be created at the Czech National Film Archive in 1996. Simultaneously with the creation of the collection, the NFA adopted a program of sound documentation and oral history. The concept continued the tradition of making sound recordings in the Prague Film Library and the NFA thus accepted the use of sound documentation in the work of film historians and archivists. In addition to the content of the collection, the article also deals with its authors.
