Formation of screenwriting craft in the Czech cinema of the 1920s and the "established" screenwriter Josef Neuberg

The study, which is part of the author's forthcoming dissertation, argues that the 1920s were the beginning of the formation of the craft of modern screenwriting and the establishment of a specialized profession of screenwriting. The author uses Josef Neuberg as an example of a professional freelance screenwriter.
