Disciplinary council of the Union of Czech filmmakers and the case of Oldřich Papež

A historical study of the activities of the Disciplinary Council of the Association of Czech Film Workers, which after the war in the years 1945-1946 was to judge the transgressions of film workers against national honour. The case of the accusation against Oldřich Papež, production manager and deputy director of Lucernafilm, is given as an example. Included is a convolute of documents from the NFA collection entitled Documentation of the proceedings against Oldřich Papež: Minutes of the hearing before the Disciplinary Council, Finding of the Disciplinary Council of the Film Workers' Union, Denial of the request for permission to retry, Pardation.
