Rozbor filmu Zbyňka Brynycha ...a pátý jezdec je Strach z roku 1964 a studie psychologicky pronikavé sondy do povahy hlavní postavy židovského lékaře Brauna, kterého ztvárnil M. Macháček. Expresionistický stylotvorný princip deformace je iniciován fenoménem strachu z důsledků vlastního jednání a strachu z moci (fašismus).
