USSR and East-central European countries at the Venice international film festival (1946-1953)

Autor odhaluje dosud neprozkoumané historické vztahy mezi kinematografiemi bývalých států socialistického bloku a zemí na Západě. Zkoumá přítomnost a nepřítomnost Sovětského svazu a států pod jeho sférou vlivu na festivalu v Benátkách v letech 1946-1953.

The author reveals the hitherto unexplored historical relations between the cinemas of the former socialist bloc countries and the countries of the West. He examines the presence and absence of the Soviet Union and the countries in its sphere of influence at the Venice Film Festival in 1946-1953.
