Joseph Garncarz

The study points to the existence of the German star system, whose stars, although not very resonant internationally, were an important element in the national cultural and social life. The author takes issue with the unconceptual use of American terminology and points out the inappropriateness of some terms for the European environment, as European star systems grow out of different cultural specificities and traditions.
