Cirkus Bukowsky as a Reflection of Organizational Changes in Czech Television

Jakub Třešňák

The author of the article returns to the turning point of the new management of the Czech Television at the turn of 2011-2012. Using a production analysis of the Circus Bukowsky series in the context of the organizational changes at CT, he shows that without the changes in leadership, the series would never have gotten off the ground. This makes the series a unique example of the impact of institutional transformation on the development, production and post-production of a television series.
