Color versus Sound or Triumph of Trichromatic Technicolor. A Brief Note on the Rhythm of Film History
The reflection develops the thesis that the most dramatic turning point in the history of film is not the advent of sound, but one of the phases of the transition to colour in the sense of dichromy and trichromy of the film strip.
